Requirements
- Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification through AHIMA
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience in a facility setting
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and other coding systems
- Specialized Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, pharmacology, and coding guidelines
- Preferred Experience: Experience with trauma, orthopedics, cardiology, and Epic system is a plus
