Requirements

  • Certifications: RHIA, RHIT, or CCS certification through AHIMA
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of inpatient coding experience in a facility setting
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and other coding systems
  • Specialized Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, pharmacology, and coding guidelines
  • Preferred Experience: Experience with trauma, orthopedics, cardiology, and Epic system is a plus
  • Work Hours: Must be available to work between 6:00 AM &#8211
